At Home Quarters, it is absolutely free to return the products if you are dissatisfied with your purchase. Returns are free only for local orders within the Greater Vancouver area. Free Returns and Refunds:
We offer a no-cost return policy for customers who are not satisfied with their purchase. If you qualify for a return, you are also eligible for a refund, subject to the exceptions and conditions outlined below for returns and refunds. Please consult the subsequent sections for detailed information on refund and return eligibility.
To be eligible for a full refund, please initiate your return request within thirty (30) days from the delivery date. Please note that the refund amount will exclude any fees associated with delivery, assembly, delivery timing, delivery location paid at the time of the original order.
Exceptions to Returns:
While most of our products are eligible for return, there are some exceptions, including:
- Customized by the customer
- Beds and mattresses
- Damaged, discolored, or with odors, etc.
- Products explicitly labeled as "Final sale", "As is", "Floor model", "Clearance", etc.
- Delivery and assembly fee (both to-door and white-glove) once a delivery attempt has made
For products to qualify for return, they must be unused, undamaged, in a resalable condition, and in their original packaging, fully intact. Home Quarters reserves the right to determine whether an item is suitable for return and retains the discretion to reject returns deemed unfit. Note that if the original packaging is missing, an additional $79 repackaging fee per item will be applied.
Your first exchange of any items is totally free up to 30 days after delivery. For further exchanges, they are deemed as returns and purchasing new items.
Please note that all exchanges must be in new condition and in their original packaging. If you don't have the original packaging on hand, an additional $79 repackaging fee per item will be applied.
Return and Exchange for In-Store Purchase
Cancellation of Orders Placed in Store
We are happy to accept cancellation of order (even simply change of mind) if the cancellation is made after 3 days of order. Your deposit will be fully refunded. Cancellation after 3 days of order will incur a cancellation fee at a rate of 3-5% of the deposit amount (5% for Amex, 3% for other payment methods). If the cancellation is made after 30 days of order (date of purchase), the deposit can only be converted to store credit OR a 15% of the order amount will be charged for cancellation after long-time reservation.
Return After Delivery/Pickup for Orders Placed in Store
We are happy to accept return or exchange for any reason (even simply change of mind) as long as a request is received within 3 days of delivery/pickup of the item and is returned in its original packaging, and unused. All returned items will be inspected, and are subjected to a restocking fee (15% of the order amount). Please note that any service fee already incurred (e.g., delivery and assembly) cannot be refunded.
